STAFF TRAINING

Training for yourself and your staff is available at https://mbll.lottolearn.ca/Home   

Simply create your account and sign up for training using a personal e-mail address and the SysID from your lottery terminal.  Further information can be found in the LottoLearn brochure.

REPORT A THEFT

If you’ve experienced a theft at your store you should:

  1. Immediately call WCLC Retail Spot to report any missing tickets or damage to your equipment.
  2. Call the police to report the theft, as you will need the police report for any insurance claims.
  3. Contact your MBLL Sales Representative directly or call the Lottery Order Desk at (204) 957-2579. You can also e-mail: Lottery.Orderdesk@mbll.ca.

Information about how to claim a prize.

Please note the following when answering questions from customers regarding prize claims:

  • Prize Claim information can be found on the reverse of every Lottery Ticket sold in Manitoba. If it is a ticket from a non-WCLC Canadian jurisdiction (ex. British Columbia, Ontario, etc.) there is also prize claim information printed on their tickets. 
  • You cannot cash a ticket from any jurisdiction other than WCLC (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, NWT, Yukon and Nunavut).
  • If you validate a major prize, your terminal will freeze and WCLC Player Care will call your store to obtain the winner’s information.  
  • Please ensure your store phone numbers are up-to-date with your Lottery Representative to expedite this process.
  • Any other questions can be directed to WCLC Player Care at (800) 665-3313.
TRANSFER STORE OWNERSHIP

If you are selling your store and have a Lottery terminal, you should:

Call your Lottery Sales Representative to perform a change of ownership, or to assist with the shut down of your business.  

We prefer at least one month notice prior to the change, so that all approvals and paperwork can be processed, and your outstanding scratch ticket stock can be transferred to the new owners, or removed and credited.
