You will also receive access to staff training as well as social responsibility instruction for selling to the public. All you need supply is a dedicated power source to run the lottery terminal and equipment at your cost and carry content insurance to cover the value of the supplied equipment, and lottery tickets.

Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries will supply you with full technical support for your terminal and equipment. You will also receive your own dedicated sales representative who will help you maximize your revenue opportunities as well as explain the nuances of product mix, promotions, merchandising and sales incentives.
How to Become a Lotto Spot Retailer
Applying to become a Lotto Spot retailer starts with completing and submitting the Expression of Interest Form below. Note that your business location will need to have been in operation for at least one year for your application to be considered. Once we receive your completed Expression of Interest an MBLL representative will then contact you regarding the next steps in the process.

Q: How long does the application process take to become a Lotto Spot retailer?
A: Typically, the application process takes about six months to complete. To inquire about the status of your application please email lottery.applications@mbll.ca or phone 204-957-2500 ext. 2590.
Q: What happens when my application is approved?
A: If your application is approved by MBLL, you will then be required to apply for a license with the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba (LGCA). The forms you will need to complete include personal and business disclosures, as well as a Manitoba Companies Online File Summary.

Q: I don’t have an existing store, but I am planning on starting up a new business. Can I still apply?
A: Yes, you can still apply. Please email lottery.applications@mbll.ca with the specifics of your new business opportunity and Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries will contact you.
Q: I have previously applied to be a Lotto Spot retailer but was turned down. Can I apply again?
A: Yes, you may re-apply but must wait one year from the date your last Expression of Interest, or application was submitted.
